Back in April, LG Cyon recruited YG Entertainment's Big Bang and 2NE1 for their colorful Lollipop campaign. The original Lollipop phone was a massive hit in Korea and sold more than 700,000 units. Now, with LG's Korean rival Samsung releasing the Corby with 2PM, LG is trying to counteract by releasing the Crystal and also stating that they will soon be releasing a Lollipop 2 phone. The Lollipop 2 phone is going to have LED's on the internal keypads and other enhancements.
No word on if LG is planning to use Big Bang and 2NE1 again for promotions on Lollipop 2, but given the enormous success from the first, I would expect them to sponsor the Lollipop 2. Big Bang is already promoting the Crystal for LG.
