Epik High New Album Drops...[e]!

Fans have been waiting ever since the last Epik High album, Remixing The Human Soul, for a new original song. Don't get me wrong, people loved Epik High's collaboration with Planet Shiver, but everyone's been itching to hear more. And after two months since their last release in July, the epic group returns with a full original album with a whopping 30 tracks for your listening pleasure!

When this indie hip hop trio debuted 6 years ago, not that many paid attention to them due to the lack of popularity of hip-hop in Korea. However, this group has undoubtedly come along the way with constant hits like "One", "Fly", "Paris", "Fan" etc with their music getting more "epik", album after album.

So congratulations to Epik High for their 6th full album!

Another Girl Group...HAM!

'Tis the season for girl groups, and looks like there is a new group in town! HAM is ready to hit the stage with their debut track, "티티댄스 (T.T Dance)".

Multinational group HAM, which stands for 'Heart&Mind', will consist of four members, including a Chinese member! Seems like international members within groups are really becoming a hit in the Korean music industry. The new group released a music video teaser on the 14th which has been receiving quite a bit of attention.

Unlike the electronic sound style of this generation's girl groups, HAM's upcoming track "T.T Dance" will focus on an intense rock sound and addicting melody. It was also made known that the director of HAM's first music video has also directed music videos for popular artists in the past, such as Seo Taiji, Epik High, Wheesung, and SS501.

On a side note, HAM will make their appearance on the 16th via Mnet cable channel with an introductory program, Hello. We are the new group HAM, which will be a documentary of their daily life and pre-debut days. They are expected to release their debut album and music video simultaneously on the 23rd.

T-ara and Supernova release "TTL" MV

Barely 24 hours after its new release, T-ara and Supernova's MV for their special group project and digital single "TTL (Time to Love)" has attracted



a massive interest from the public, racking in a walloping 110,000 views on GomTV, Korea's equivalent to YouTube thus far.

Supernova, who have experienced a hit with "Super Star" two years ago, finally return after a long hiatus, but with only 3 members - Jihyuk, Kwangsu and Gunil from the original 6. Likewise, Soyeon, Eunjung, Hyomin and Jiyeon of T-ara shed their not-so-refreshing soft and innocent concept from their relatively successful debut song "Lies" to reveal a sleek and sophisticated appearance.

As seen in the MV of "TTL (Time to Love)", Supernova and T-ara's music, choreography and style made a 180-degree transformation. Netizens were shocked by Supernova's powerful rap and moved by T-ara's sexy transformation. Furthermore, the powerful rap and dance, and radically different hair and make-up served as a pleasant surprise for fans, exposing a new side of the two Mnet Media groups.

Actress Goo Hye Sun, also known as the "Jack of All Trades Beauty" these days, has netizens roaring over her natural, creamy complexion.

Goo Hye Sun recently posted on her minihompy pictures of herself without any makeup, supposedly for the first time in a while. Goo Hye Sun's milky skin and gentle smile immediately caught the attention of netizens, who responded by saying, "as expected, a flour doll," and "a doll like no other." Goo Hye Sun's facial features have earned her the title of "representative babyface in all of showbiz."

2PM’s Jaebeom calls it quits!

On the official 2PM fancafe, leader Jaebeom announced that he will be officially quitting 2PM.

This decision was made after his recent Myspace controversy was blown out of hand.

Unless someone has hacked his account, this is an official statement from Jaebeom.

Jaebeom posted:

"Hello, I'm 2PM's Jaebeom.

I'm sorry for giving you my last greeting through this letter.
I think it will be hard for me to see you all on stage because of my sorry heart.

I'm really sorry to everyone, and I'm even more sorry to the fans who have shown me love.
From today, I will leave 2PM.

2PM boys, I'm really sorry to the boys and I'm sorry I couldn't be strong as a leader and a hyung and have to leave like this.

Jaebeom of 2pm has caused an outrage as captures of his past MySpace comments have surfaced the web. The harsh comments towards Koreans have angered many netizens. He is known to be the leader of the popular group 2PM, but now a new side of him has been shown.

These comments are from years ago, during his training days, it's obvious someone is plotting to bring Jaebeom down. But will this change how you view Jaebeom now?

Kara’s Oddugi CF!

The girls have released a CF for Oddugi, a Korean ramen snack. Utilizing their bubbly personalities, cute charms, and acting skills, Kara brought their "A-game" to the set and it clearly shows in this CF.

Members SeungYeon, Gyuri, and JiYoung have their envious sights set on Nicole and Hara as the two cuddle with very lucky young men in a typical high school scenario. From unleashing their wrath upon an innocent bowl of ramen to shaking what their mamas gave them with their famous "Mister" dance, Kara definitely knows what it takes to make a simple snack like ramen into a feast for the mouth and the eyes!

Yet Another Girl Group, "Secret"

It has been reported that there will be another girl group that will debut soon with four members.

However, only one of the members was revealed. Jun Hyo Sung was the winning contestant in the audition program titled "Battle Shinhwa" and was a former member in the group Jun (전). Jun Hyo Sung was born in the same year as Yubin of the Wonder Girls and After School's UEE.

The four member girl group's name is "Secret." Their motive for this mysterious name is to convey to fans that they want to reveal to the world all the talent that they have been hiding so that they may become known throughout the world.

It is reported that all the members will be introduced in a new reality show titled, "Secret Story," that will air on Mnet on the 21st of September. The remaining three members will slowly be revealed on 9th of September. Lets hope that this mysterious group really has the talent to back their name up.

New YG Girl Group, "Lady Collection"

YG Entertainment has just revealed yet another girl group, who will be known as "Lady Collection."

Lady Collection will be a 3-member vocal group and 1 of the members have been confirmed as Jieun(JC), who had initially debuted 2 years ago. All 3 members are said to have smooth and extremely powerful vocal abilities.

Seeya 2.0 anyone? Anyway, Lady Collection's first mini-album will be released on the 17th.

After an overwhelming response from fans and non-fans alike after having witnessed the 2NE1 special stage on August 29, the girls and YG Ent immediately decided to digitally release the reggae version of their hit "I Don't Care" for all to download and admire. "I Don't Care" had a fresh, summer feel to it originally and the feeling has doubled after the release of this wonderful remix. 4Minute's Jun Jiyoon made her first televised public appearance via MTV's '4Minute' show!
On the latest episode, Jun Jiyoon reveals her sexy eyes and stated:

"I'm 'Junglass' Jun Jiyoon. It's so blinding because I took my sunglasses off, it's hard getting used to this."

Jiyoon then proceeded to joke around and stated (while giggling):

"I don't know why everyone thinks I have a manly image. The truth is, I'm very family oriented and lady like. Don't I look like I spend my time at home knitting?"

4Minute is finally receiving the popularity they deserve - matter of fact, their track "Muzik" has overtaken G-Dragon's "Heartbreaker," on online music charts putting it at the #1 spot! All this success, without even performing or promoting, and their music has yet to be released as well.

2NE1 is an extremely hot commodity, as they have taken Korea by storm and swept the #1 spot on all music programs/charts with everyone of their tracks. Hence, 2NE1 has been signed to model for sports brand FILA!

The concept of this shoot was "Stylish Sport," which fits the image of 2NE1.

A FILA representative stated:

"Skilled and stylish, these stars are the best at everything, so they will be modeling for FILA. We are expecting great results from this photo shoot."
